re: A Way to Get Quick Bounty Contracts

0

I've been doing the Bounty Contract and thought I'd share the quickest way to get XP, Reputation, and Completed Bounty Contracts. If you want all the achievements for the henchmen and bosses, then you might want to do those first.

The Bounty Contract can only been done once daily per toon. So if you have let's say 3 toons, then you maybe do it 3 times a day (once per toon).

For this, you'll need a Stronghold (Stronghold) in Nar Shaddaa and a Quick Travel off CD (Cool Down). If you don't have a SH on Nar, then you can get one for free on fleet in the SH and crew skills area in the upper level, left open area on Fleet. There is also a holostatue that gives you some decoration items for your SH in the same area on the upper deck between the left and right open areas.

Note: This might only be free for subscribers.

Also, to make it easier to find Shady Characters for the mission, you'll want to go into Preferences > Nameplates and check the topmost right box for "Nameplates on Friendly NPCs".

Okay to begin with you'll need to go to Fleet to pick up the mission in the Cartel Bazaar. You can use your stronghold, the guild's stronghold, or the guild ship and then exit to fleet or you can use a Fleet pass as the quickest ways to get to Fleet. If you haven't done this before, there is a floating person in carbon freeze (Like Han Solo in TESB ) just at the bottom of the hallway before you enter the elevator for the Cartel Bazaar. Click on that and you can get 1 Friendly Drink (light side choice) and 1 Probe Droid (dark side choice) by talking to the droid inside.

Next, pick up the daily for Nar Shaddaa from the mission terminal inside the Cartel Bazaar.

This step is optional but makes the process even quicker: Pickup 4 of either Friendly Drinks or Probe Droids for 800 creds each from the astromech droid just to the right of the mission terminal.

Next, travel to your Nar Shaddaa SH (Stronghold). Then exit to Nar Shaddaa. This will put you at the SH Directory on Nar Shaddaa which is very close to where you start the mission on Nar. You'll want to make sure you have the Slippery Slopes Cantina QT point unlocked. If you don't have it unlocked, you'll want to do that before even talking to the main mission giver (Otheos or something like that; a cathar). When you phase into Nar after exiting there from your SH, you'll want to turn 90 degrees to your left. You should then see an open doorway to your left along the wall. There are only a couple doorways along that wall. One will take out outside and one takes you to the Cantina. So, go unlock that if you haven't done so.

Next, follow your map to talk to the Cathar to get the mission. Your map will then tell you to go down the ramp. Disregard this. There are 2 speeder locations on the promenade (Upper and Lower Promenade). The mission will direct you to the Lower Promenade and that's the furthest away. You'll want to take the Upper Promenade Speeder to the floating casino marked on your map as a green speeder location to travel to for the mission.

Once you're at the cantina, you'll need to find 4 Shady Characters. Go up either set of stairs. For this let's say the left stairs. Go through the door and just as the hallway turns right, there is a Shady Character leaning against the wall next to the open doorway. Target him/her by clicking on them, open your inventory, and use either a Friendly Drink or Probe Droid. If you don't have any then just use the clickable mission item to the right of the mission in your mission log. There is also a Shady Character at the other end of the hallway coming from the right staircase. Through the next open doorway there is a Shady Character halfway through the hall on the right. Then there is another Shady Character just to the left as you enter through the next open doorway into the next hallway. They spawn very quickly. So if none of these are there, you can even wait for them if you'd like and they'll be back very quickly. Otherwise, just make your way around the outside edge of the room of the main casino area until you have 4 of them.

After you have all 4 Shady Characters QT to the Slippery Slopes Cantina. There will be a table you'll need to click on that will spawn the NPC you need to talk to for the next part of the mission. You'll be given a Light/Dark/Neutral choice. Next, take the Upper Promenade Speeder to wherever you have to go to either kill/capture the bounty. Just follow your map/speeder map to where you need to go. Then it's up to you to find them on your map, kill/capture them (capture them by using the clickable carbon freezing item in your mission item next to your mission in the mission log).

Then the quickest way to return is to travel to your SH and then exit to Nar again unless the bounty was very close to a speeder. So then you talk to the same Cathar at Nar. After that you'll receive a free Fleet Pass in your mission items and next to the mission in your mission log. Return to Fleet and drop off the mission in the Cartel Bazaar.

That's it folks. Hope this helps y'all out and enjoy!

The only reason I don't do the Coruscant is because it doesn't show up on the map where to go. It'll show up on the speeder location, but then there's that little bit of time to travel over to it. So, it's just quicker to do Nar unless you know the location of the bosses by heart... "I be always done" it that way too if I did!
