Hello again, folks! Welcome to the next installment of Ask Infernal. I apologize for the scarcity of these posts, but Mrs. Infernal and I are currently house shopping and trying to get affairs in order before we move, as well as squeeze in some game time here and there, which hasn’t left much room for writing, I’m afraid. Nevertheless, without further ado, I present to you:
What Level Do I Get My Companion / Ship / Speeder / New Powers?
The answer to the first two is “keep following your class missions.” The answer to the last two is “it depends on your level.”
Your personal starship is unlocked at the end of your class story on Coruscant (or Dromund Kaas for those of you who are damn dirty filthy Imp scum). You can skip all the side missions and just do the straight story if you want to get it faster (usually around lvl 12-14ish), or you can keep running all the side missions and do every last little thing on the planet if you’re a completionist (like me) and don’t mind waiting until around lvl 16-18ish.

What stats do I need for myself and my companions?
The answer to this question will vary based on your level, which role you play (tank, heals, DPS), and which companion you use frequently. In the lower levels, the answer is “it really doesn’t matter much, just stick to your main stats.” In the later levels is where you start to diversify your stats as you build your skill tree.
Each class has its own main stat. These stats improve your overall damage or healing and your critical hit chance. They are:
Trooper/Bounty Hunter= Aim
Consular/Inquisitor = Willpower
Smuggler/Agent = Cunning
Knight/Warrior = Strength
Each Advanced Class has different specializations which will determine what secondary and tertiary stats you want. Because there are 4 class types, each with two Advanced Class selections, and each Advanced Class has three skill trees, I’m not going to list every possible combination of stats for each build. But as a general rule of thumb, I’d say the break down and priority order can be summed up like this:
Tank: Endurance, Main stat, Shield rating, Absorption rating, Defense (certain tank classes use more defense than others, and certain ones use... More

Hello and welcome to Ask Infernal. In this blog, I'll answer common questions I see in guild chat, general chat, and elsewhere on the world wide interwebz. My hope is that this will become a valuable resource for those of you just now getting into the game, or maybe shed some light on a previously unknown or misunderstood game mechanic for those that have been playing for a while.
